Cirrus was founded in 2007 by Steve Heimler to own and operate multifamily and hospitality assets in California, Arizona, and Hawaii. In spring of 2007, Steve sold Stratus Real Estate, Inc. to British investors. Stratus was well known as a premier regional third-party property management firm specializing in the management and repositioning of multifamily assets with a portfolio of over 22,000 units. Distinct from this third-party management focus, Cirrus was formed to focus on the ‘owned’ portfolio. Steve's experience as a respected ‘Operator’ is of increasing relevance in the ‘new world order’. Cirrus is now active in receiverships, REO consulting and asset plan development. Steve brings his extensive experience in property acquisitions, property operations, and dispositions from his many years working with a significant list of well known ‘players’ in the multifamily industry, and assisting the transfer of over $4,000,000,000 in assets. Currently, Cirrus manages a portfolio valued at $500,000,000.
